In line with the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's commitment to providing students with ample opportunity to complete their academic procedures and facilitate course registration, and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, University President, and Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty's Education and Student Affairs Sector has announced an extension of the registration period for summer semester courses for the 2025/2026 academic year. Registration will now be open from Sunday, July 19th to Thursday, July 23rd, 2026.

This extension comes in response to student needs, providing them with sufficient time to complete their registration procedures. This ensures the proper selection of courses according to the approved academic plans and contributes to the smooth running of studies during the summer semester. Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, affirmed that the faculty continues to work on creating a flexible and supportive academic environment for students by taking measures that facilitate the completion of their academic transactions within appropriate timeframes. He pointed out that the decision to extend the registration period stems from the faculty administration's commitment to serving the students' best interests and ensuring they fully benefit from the academic opportunities offered by the summer semester.

For his part, Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that students wishing to register should expedite all procedures during the extended period. He emphasized the importance of consulting with their academic advisor or program coordinator before registering for courses to ensure their registration aligns with the study plan and the permitted number of credit hours. He affirmed that the Education and Student Affairs sector continues to provide support and answer student inquiries to ensure a smooth and efficient registration process.

The Faculty of Specific Education urges all concerned students to take advantage of the announced extension period and not to postpone registration procedures until after the specified deadline, stressing its continued development of academic and administrative services, and providing everything that would support students and achieve the quality of the educational process, in accordance with Zagazig University’s strategy towards academic excellence, digital transformation and raising the level of educational services.
