Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of Zagazig University, and Professor Dr. Sayed Salem, Secretary-General of the University, Zagazig University continued its efforts in monitoring development, maintenance, and improving the efficiency of university facilities. A technical committee from the university's Engineering Department conducted a field inspection today, June 21, 2026, of the final stages of finishing work on an inspection chamber and a pumping station for ground leakage points in the basement walls of the Faculty of Specific Education. This project is designed to address the problem of water leakage and ensure the structural integrity of the buildings.
The technical committee, headed by Engineer Ahmed Gaballah, inspected the completed work on-site, reviewed the progress of the finishing work, examined the latest developments, and verified that the work conformed to the required technical specifications, thus guaranteeing the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
The committee was received by Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, who oversaw the inspection. He emphasized the faculty administration's commitment to ongoing cooperation with the university's Engineering Department to implement necessary maintenance and development work, contributing to a safe and stable educational and administrative environment for all members of the faculty. Professor Akmal Shawky emphasized that monitoring infrastructure development and improving the efficiency of facilities are among the college's top priorities, in line with the university administration's directives to enhance the work environment and preserve university assets and facilities. He commended the engineering department for its swift response to technical issues and implementation of appropriate solutions based on sound scientific and engineering principles.
The inspection concluded with an affirmation of the commitment to continued periodic monitoring of the implementation phases until the work is fully completed, ensuring the achievement of its objectives.
