The Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University is accelerating the procedures for including its programs in the national qualifications frameworks in order to enhance quality and academic recognition.

⭕In line with the Egyptian state's directives to develop the higher education system and enhance the quality of educational outcomes in accordance with national and international standards, and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of Zagazig University, and Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Specific Education continues its intensive efforts to complete the procedures for including all its academic programs within the National Qualifications Framework. This strategic step aims to enhance the quality of educational programs and support the competitiveness of graduates locally, regionally, and internationally.

⭕In this context, the Faculty's Quality Assurance Unit sent a letter to the heads of academic departments regarding the completion of the requirements for registering academic programs within the National Qualifications Framework. The letter included several technical and organizational procedures related to fulfilling the requirements for academic qualifications, reviewing study regulations, and updating program and course descriptions according to the latest publications of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, ensuring their compliance with the requirements of institutional and program quality and accreditation.

The Quality Assurance Unit affirmed that registration with the National Qualifications Framework is a fundamental pillar for documenting and accrediting learning outcomes, linking them to labor market needs and the requirements of sustainable development. It also plays a role in facilitating the academic and professional mobility of graduates and raising the level of recognition of academic qualifications at both the local and international levels.

For his part, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky Gaballah, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, emphasized that the faculty places quality and academic development at the forefront of its priorities, stemming from its belief that institutional excellence begins with developing educational programs and ensuring their alignment with the latest national and international standards.

He explained that including academic programs in the National Qualifications Framework is a pivotal step in the faculty's development journey, as it directly supports the programs' competitiveness and enhances graduates' opportunities to pursue postgraduate studies and effectively enter the labor market. He affirmed the faculty administration's commitment to providing all forms of support to the academic departments to complete this task according to the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

The Dean of the Faculty added that this approach aligns with Zagazig University's vision and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's strategy to build a modern educational system based on quality and innovation, linking education to national development needs. This contributes to preparing graduates with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to meet future challenges.

The Faculty of Specific Education continues to work steadily towards enhancing its academic standing and establishing a culture of quality and accreditation across its various sectors. This stems from the belief that true investment lies in developing advanced educational programs and producing graduates capable of competing and innovating, thus supporting the university's mission of achieving excellence, leadership, and serving the community.
