⭕As part of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's commitment to utilizing the arts in addressing societal issues, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the university's auditorium hosted a distinguished theatrical performance entitled "Divorce Trend" on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The performance was met with a remarkable student turnout and significant engagement with the play's content.
⭕The performance was held under the supervision and in the presence of Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Reham Ehab Zayed, Coordinator of Student Activities. It was also under the supervision of Professor Dr. Shaimaa Fathy, Head of the Department of Educational Media, with artistic supervision by Dr. Iman Montaser and Dr. Asmaa Nasser. The dramaturgy and direction were handled by Professor Mohamed El-Naggar.
The performance addressed a highly important contemporary social issue, highlighting the impact of the unconscious use of social media and how the obsession with views, likes, and shares can become a destructive force for family stability, turning humanitarian issues into mere commodities for digital consumption.
