⭕As part of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's commitment to enhancing the educational process and improving the quality of academic outcomes, and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of Zagazig University, and Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, held an extensive meeting today, Monday, April 27, 2026, with several faculty members from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences. Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, was also present. The meeting focused on discussing graduation projects and mechanisms to maximize their educational impact, thereby contributing to the development of students' capabilities and bridging the gap between academic study and practical application.
⭕This meeting followed the Dean's attendance at the Zagazig University Council meeting, clearly demonstrating the ongoing monitoring of various academic and administrative matters and the Faculty administration's dedication to continued work and institutional performance development to achieve the University's objectives.
The meeting addressed ways to develop graduation projects to make them more relevant to the needs of society and the job market. It also discussed mechanisms for guiding students toward submitting high-quality projects that contribute to developing creative thinking, innovation, and teamwork skills, with a focus on transforming these projects into practical models that can be utilized both within and outside the educational system.
Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the College, emphasized that graduation projects are a fundamental pillar in building the university student's character and measuring their ability to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their years of study. He noted that the college places great importance on developing these projects to be more impactful and beneficial, thereby enhancing the college's academic standing and serving the community.
For his part, Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that the college works to provide all forms of support and guidance to students during the implementation of their graduation projects, ensuring their outstanding execution and reflecting the students' academic and professional level.
