The Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University is holding an awareness workshop on the etiquette and behaviors of dealing within the university campus to enhance student awareness.


⭕As part of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's commitment to developing behavioral awareness and instilling positive university values ​​in its students, the Faculty's Training Unit organized an awareness workshop entitled: "Etiquette and Conduct on Campus: An Introduction to Building Student Awareness." The workshop was held on Monday, April 20, 2026, in Lecture Hall (C) at the Faculty.

⭕The event was held under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University; Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty; Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Professor Dr. Safinaz Samir, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research. It was supervised and organized by Professor Dr. Taghreed Barakat, Director of the Training Unit.

The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Hemmat Hassan El-Saqqa, Professor of Media in the Department of Educational Media. She addressed a range of important topics related to university student behavior, etiquette on campus, and the importance of adhering to ethical values ​​that reflect the civilized image of the educational institution, thus contributing to building a university environment based on respect and discipline.

In his address, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the College, emphasized that organizing this workshop stems from the college's commitment to developing well-rounded students, not only academically but also behaviorally and ethically. He pointed out that establishing a culture of discipline and respect on campus is a fundamental pillar in achieving a distinguished educational environment.

For his part, Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that these awareness-raising activities directly contribute to enhancing students' awareness of their rights and responsibilities on campus and support their ability to interact positively with their academic community, which in turn improves the quality of university life. ⭕Professor Dr. Safinaz Samir, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, emphasized that promoting a culture of ethical conduct and institutional belonging is a cornerstone of building a conscious and creative university community capable of excellence. She also highlighted the importance of continuing these awareness initiatives to reinforce positive values ​​among students.

⭕Professor Dr. Hemmat Hassan El-Saqqa explained that adhering to proper etiquette on campus reflects a student's level of awareness and culture, and contributes to building relationships based on mutual respect and cooperation. She stressed that behavioral awareness is one of the most important elements of a student's success in their university and professional life.

⭕Professor Dr. Taghreed Barakat, Director of the Training Unit, indicated that organizing this workshop is part of the unit's plan to implement targeted training and awareness programs that contribute to refining students' skills and developing their social awareness. She affirmed the unit's commitment to continuing to offer more events that meet students' needs.
