The Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University holds a training workshop on employing artificial intelligence in scientific research.


⭕In line with the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's commitment to enhancing scientific research and keeping pace with modern technological advancements, the Faculty's Training Unit organized a distinguished training workshop entitled: "Employing Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research," held on April 20, 2026, in Lecture Hall (C) at the Faculty.

⭕The workshop was held under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University; Professor Dr. Ehab El-Beblawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty; and Professor Dr. Safinaz Samir, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Taghreed Barakat, Director of the Training Unit.

⭕The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Naglaa Saeed Mohamed Ahmed, Assistant Professor of Educational Technology at the Faculty and Director of the E-Learning and Interactive Book Unit at the University. During the workshop, she addressed the latest applications of artificial intelligence in supporting scientific research, mechanisms for employing it in data collection and analysis, and improving the quality of research outputs, thus contributing to the development of academic and research performance.

⭕Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed that organizing this workshop stems from the Faculty's commitment to supporting the scientific research system and adopting modern technologies that contribute to raising the level of scientific research. He pointed out that artificial intelligence has become a pivotal tool in developing the research process and enhancing innovation.

⭕For her part, Professor Dr. Safinaz Samir, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, explained that these training workshops contribute to developing the skills of researchers and graduate students, enabling them to effectively utilize artificial intelligence tools in their research, keeping pace with global trends in scientific research.

⭕Professor Dr. Naglaa Saeed Mohamed also emphasized that using artificial intelligence technologies in scientific research represents a qualitative leap in the methods of preparing studies and research. She explained that these tools help researchers save time and effort, achieve greater accuracy in analysis, and reach more efficient and innovative results.

Professor Dr. Taghreed Barakat, Director of the Training Unit, indicated that this workshop is part of the unit's plan to offer specialized training programs that contribute to building the research and technological capabilities of the college's staff. She emphasized the continued organization of more events that support academic excellence.

The workshop witnessed significant attendance and interaction from undergraduate and graduate students, who showed great interest in the workshop's topics and were keen to participate and ask questions, reflecting their growing awareness of the importance of employing modern technology in developing their scientific and research careers.
