An institutional initiative to enhance communication… Departments and programs of the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, allocate regular dates for student interviews.

As part of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's commitment to strengthening direct communication channels with its students, and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of Zagazig University, and Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the academic departments and distinguished programs have announced the allocation of regular times for student meetings. The aim is to listen to suggestions, identify problems, and work to address them immediately, thereby enhancing the quality of the educational process and fostering a supportive and stimulating academic environment.

This step comes within the framework of a comprehensive institutional approach adopted by the Faculty. The Departments of Music Education, Art Education, Home Economics, Educational Technology, Educational Media, and One-Classroom Teacher have already announced specific schedules for weekly meetings, tailored to the nature and organizational circumstances of each department, to ensure that the opportunity is available to the largest possible number of students.

The initiative also includes the Faculty's distinguished programs, such as the English Language Program, the Educational Technology Program for People with Disabilities, and the Computer Teacher Preparation Program for People with Disabilities. Separate dates have been set for these programs, aligning with the nature of the studies in each program, clearly demonstrating respect for the academic and organizational specificities of each study track. In this context, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed that this initiative reflects the Faculty's philosophy based on transparency and openness, emphasizing that students are integral partners in developing the educational system. He added that the administration is keen to listen directly to students' voices and transform their suggestions into actionable improvement plans, thereby strengthening the sense of belonging and fostering a learning environment based on dialogue and interaction.

For his part, Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that organizing periodic meetings is part of an integrated system for academic advising and student support. He emphasized that the Faculty is working to provide clear and rapid mechanisms for responding to any inquiry or problem, ensuring the stability of the academic path and achieving the highest levels of student satisfaction.

The Faculty of Specific Education affirms that this step is not merely an organizational procedure, but rather an institutional approach that reflects its belief that effective communication is the cornerstone of genuine development, and that a university that listens to its students and embraces their ideas is best positioned to create a more distinguished and sustainable academic future.
