The Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University embodies belonging on a day of public service… Students beautify their college with a spirit of teamwork and responsibility.


⭕As part of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's commitment to instilling values ​​of belonging and positive participation, and enhancing the role of students in maintaining a university environment befitting the faculty's status and mission, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty's Student Union and Scout Troop organized a Public Service Day on Thursday, February 12, 2026. This day included a comprehensive campaign of cleaning, beautification, and tree painting, as well as the restoration of wooden structures and benches on campus.

⭕The activities were held under the supervision of Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty; Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Reham Ehab Zayed, Head of the Music Education Department and General Coordinator of Activities at the Faculty; Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of Student Welfare; and Ms. Hind Youssef, Activity Supervisor, with the active participation of student Mariam Mohamed, President of the Student Union.

The initiative was implemented in full coordination with the college administration and staff, reflecting the unity of all members of the university community. Everyone worked together as a team to enhance the college's image and create a healthy and stimulating learning environment for our students.

Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky emphasized that the college places great importance on developing students' character alongside their academic qualifications. He noted that participation in such initiatives reflects a genuine awareness of social responsibility and reinforces the values ​​of belonging, mutual respect, and teamwork—principles that are fundamental to the college's strategy.

Professor Dr. Ehab Atef explained that student activities are a crucial pillar in fostering awareness and developing leadership skills. He pointed out that the students' contributions on Community Service Day serve as a shining example of young people capable of giving and taking initiative, reflecting the college's students' commitment to ensuring their learning environment is of the highest quality.
