In light of the ongoing development of the higher education and scientific research system, and following the presidential decree expressing gratitude and appreciation to Professor Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and congratulating Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh on his appointment as the new Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Faculty of Specific Education affirmed its deep pride in the national efforts being made to enable Egyptian universities to fulfill their mission to the fullest extent.
For his part, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his profound appreciation for the significant role played by Professor Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour during his tenure, noting that the past period was characterized by an ambitious developmental vision that enhanced the competitiveness of universities, solidified the concepts of quality and governance, and strongly promoted scientific research, innovation, and digital transformation, thus contributing to raising the level of the educational process and maximizing the utilization of academic resources.
At the same time, His Excellency extended his sincere congratulations to Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, affirming that this esteemed trust reflects his distinguished scientific and administrative expertise, which qualifies him to lead the next phase with competence and capability, and to complete the comprehensive modernization of the higher education system, thus supporting the state's plans for human development and strengthening the knowledge-based economy.
Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky added that the Faculty of Specific Education, including its leadership, faculty members, teaching assistants, and students, renews its full commitment to positively engaging with the directives of the Ministry and the University, and to moving forward in developing academic programs, stimulating creativity, and presenting an exemplary institutional model of quality and excellence.
His Excellency concluded by emphasizing that the Faculty will continue to fulfill its national and developmental role, building upon a legacy of hard work, and determined to contribute effectively to consolidating the position of Egyptian university education at both the regional and international levels.
