In a new achievement added to the record of student successes at the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, student Mariam Samir William, enrolled in the Educational Media Department, has qualified for the final round in the television reporting category at the "Creativity 14" festival, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the Alexandria Youth City, under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
This qualification comes as a result of the continuous support of His Excellency Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University, and His Excellency Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of the General Administration for Youth Welfare. This reflects the university's commitment to nurturing talented students and providing them with opportunities to compete in major national events.
Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, affirmed that the student's reaching the final stage is a natural outcome of the faculty's policy of discovering and developing media talents, and its commitment to integrating academic study with practical training, which contributes to preparing qualified individuals capable of representing the university with distinction. He explained that the college prioritizes supporting student creativity and works to provide a suitable environment for honing and developing professional skills.
For his part, Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, the college's Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, expressed his pride in this achievement, noting that it reflects the students' seriousness and determination to compete, as well as the effectiveness of the student activities system in building well-rounded personalities. He added that the college continues to provide support and care for its students in various scientific, cultural, artistic, and media fields.
