In support of digital transformation and to enhance the skills of faculty members at the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, and under the guidance of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Biblawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty's Training Unit, in cooperation with the E-Learning and E-Testing Unit, organized a specialized training workshop entitled "Training on the Learning Management System (Thinqi)." The workshop was held on Monday evening, January 27, 2026, via Microsoft Teams.
⭕This workshop is part of the Faculty's plan aimed at developing academic performance and improving the efficiency of using modern educational systems, in line with the University's direction to support digital education and enhance the quality of the educational process.
In his address, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the College, emphasized the college's strong commitment to developing its academic staff to professionally utilize modern educational technologies. He noted that implementing the Thinqi system represents a significant step towards enhancing interactive learning and integrating face-to-face and online teaching.
Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that the training is part of a series of ongoing programs aimed at building the capacity of faculty members. This ensures the provision of advanced educational services to students and facilitates the monitoring and evaluation of academic progress through reliable digital platforms.
In a related context, Professor Dr. Iman Shaaban, Head of the Department of Educational Technology and Computer Science, affirmed the department's support for all initiatives that foster a modern, technology-based learning environment and align with the university and college's goals of accreditation and quality.
Professor Dr. Taghreed Barakat, Director of the Training Unit, commended the positive engagement of faculty members, emphasizing the unit's continued commitment to offering advanced, high-quality programs. She further explained... Samah Zaghloul, Director of the E-Learning and E-Testing Unit, stated that the workshop aimed to provide a comprehensive practical application of using the system and efficiently managing online courses. Dr. Rasha Wali, E-Learning Coordinator, emphasized the unit's commitment to providing ongoing technical support to faculty members.
