A student initiative at the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, restores the beauty of the university campus… and emphasizes the consolidation of a culture of belonging and sustainable development.


As part of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's efforts to enhance the campus's aesthetic appeal, and under the guidance of His Excellency Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University, and His Excellency Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty's Student Union launched a distinguished student initiative. This initiative included painting trees and restoring woodwork in several key locations within the Faculty. This step reflects the students' sense of belonging and social responsibility, and their commitment to a learning environment befitting the Faculty and meeting the aspirations of its students.

⭕The initiative was carried out under the auspices of Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

⭕In his address, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky emphasized the Faculty's strong support for student initiatives that promote the values ​​of beauty and belonging. He noted that such activities are an integral part of the Faculty's educational and developmental role, contributing to strengthening institutional identity and raising environmental awareness among students.

⭕In the same context, Professor Dr. Ehab Atef stated that the Student Affairs sector always supports creative ideas and initiatives launched by students, emphasizing that student participation in improving their university environment is practical training in leadership and social responsibility, and enhances the spirit of teamwork.

Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of the Student Welfare Department at the college, also praised this purposeful student effort, explaining that the sustainability of volunteer projects within the college contributes to creating a stimulating learning environment and reinforces the principles of positive participation and the integration of roles between students and academic departments.

The college invites all its students to join this initiative and contribute to maintaining a high-quality university environment, whether through active participation or by submitting constructive proposals and ideas, by contacting the Student Welfare Department at the college.
