In appreciation of their timeless contributions, Zagazig University celebrates Mother's Day in a dazzlingly humane atmosphere.


As part of celebrating Mother's Day and honoring the symbol of compassion and giving, the Social Committee of the Faculty of Specific Education Student Union, in cooperation with the Youth Care Department, organized a special Mother's Day celebration. The event, which was attended by a large number of mothers, students, faculty members, and staff, reflected the highest values ​​of appreciation and human connection. The celebration took place on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in the discussion hall of the new building at 12:30 p.m.
The celebration was held under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef Ezzat, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Badie, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of Youth Care, Dr. Ahmed Essam, Social Committee Supervisor, student Mariam Mohamed, President of the Student Union, and student Mohamed Ayman, Vice President of the Union. The ceremony opened with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcoming speech by His Excellency Prof. Hani Helmy, Dean of the College, in which he emphasized that "the mother was and will remain a sacred symbol of unlimited giving and a source of values ​​and virtues that shape the conscience of generations. It is our collective duty to instill this status in the souls of our students."
In a special statement, Prof. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, expressed his happiness with the students' participation in organizing the ceremony, adding, "Events like this not only promote human values, but also contribute to building the student's character and developing their social awareness."
For his part, Prof. Ahmed Badie, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, emphasized that the ceremony reflects the College's vital role in linking student activities to major social issues, praising the students' distinguished performance and meticulous organization, which reflects a mature awareness. The ceremony included several touching performances, most notably a song titled "My Mother," performed by student Samira Ahmed with a voice brimming with emotion. The song depicted touching human moments, expressing the sacrifices of mothers in the details of daily life, and received a warm response from the audience.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, symbolic gifts were distributed to the mothers, amid an atmosphere where tears of joy mingled with enthusiastic applause, in moments that will be treasured forever.
It's worth noting that the Mother's Day celebration at the College of Specific Education was not merely a celebratory occasion, but rather a message of love and gratitude to every mother, and a vivid embodiment of the values ​​of loyalty and honor that the college believes in and seeks to instill in its students.
