Zagazig University organizes a seminar on teaching sign language to enhance community communication.


As part of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University's commitment to promoting comprehensive communication and consolidating the principle of community integration, the faculty is organizing a distinguished training seminar entitled "Learning Sign Language." The seminar is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in the faculty's discussion hall.
The seminar will be lectured by Dr. Lubna Matar, a sign language instructor at the faculty. She will provide a practical and applied explanation of the basics of sign language, with the aim of preparing students to acquire communication skills with people of determination and supporting national efforts to achieve a more inclusive and understanding society.
The event is held under the generous patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of Youth Care. It is also supported by the Student Union President, Mariam Mohamed.
This event comes within the framework of the faculty's commitment to enhancing the cultural and social awareness of its students and equipping them with skills that contribute to building bridges of effective communication with all segments of society.
