The Department of Educational Technology at Zagazig University receives first-level students in a comprehensive introductory meeting.


As part of the keenness of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University to provide academic and guidance support to its new students, the Department of Educational Technology organized the second introductory meeting for new first-level students who are carrying subjects, as well as those transferred from other universities (clearances), including an overview of academic guidance, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 AD in Hall (309) at 10 am.
Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, confirmed during his speech that the college pays great attention to providing a distinguished educational environment for its new students, stressing the importance of these introductory meetings in helping students adapt to the university education system and make the most of the opportunities available to them.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, explained that academic guidance is one of the main pillars in guiding students and helping them achieve the best academic performance, noting that this meeting represents an opportunity to familiarize students with university regulations and systems, and answer their various inquiries.
Prof. Dr. Iman Shaaban, Head of the Educational Technology Department, welcomed the new students, stressing that the department always seeks to provide modern educational programs that keep pace with technological developments and contribute to qualifying students for the labor market, stressing the importance of students communicating with faculty members and benefiting from academic guidance services. In the same context, Assistant Professor Dr. Naglaa Saeed, Academic Guidance Coordinator in the department, indicated that academic guidance represents an important bridge between students and faculty members, as it aims to guide them academically and professionally to ensure achieving the best results during their educational journey, calling on students to benefit from the services provided by the department to ensure a successful educational experience. This meeting is part of the ongoing efforts of the Educational Technology Department to support its new students and enhance effective communication between students and faculty members, which contributes to building a generation of qualified and distinguished graduates in the fields of educational technology.
