The Home Economics Program at Zagazig University organizes academic guidance workshops for first-year and postgraduate students to register for courses.

As part of the keenness of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University to support postgraduate and first-year students academically and professionally, the Home Economics Program organized a workshop on writing courses on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in Hall 307 and Auditorium (C), in the presence of a group of faculty members in the department.

Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty, confirmed that this workshop comes within the framework of the Faculty's strategy aimed at raising the efficiency of students in preparing courses according to the latest academic standards, stressing the importance of developing scientific research and self-learning skills among students.
Prof. Dr. Akmal Shawky, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, confirmed that this workshop comes within the framework of the Faculty's plan to support postgraduate students academically and research-wise, noting that providing students with the skills of writing courses according to modern academic standards is an essential step in developing the educational and research process. He also stressed the importance of exploiting these training opportunities to enhance the capabilities of researchers and students to produce distinguished scientific content that meets the needs of the academic community.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that these training workshops aim to qualify graduate students and enable them with modern scientific research tools, in addition to supporting first-level students from the beginning of their academic career to ensure their success in university life.
Prof. Dr. Safinaz Samir, Head of the Department of Home Economics, indicated that the department always seeks to provide the necessary support to students through intensive training programs, stressing that positive interaction in such workshops contributes to improving educational outcomes.
Prof. Dr. Rehab Gomaa and Prof. Dr. Nahed Shehata, Academic Guidance Coordinators in the department, added that this workshop represents an important opportunity for students to understand the mechanisms of writing curricula in a professional manner, indicating that academic guidance plays a pivotal role in guiding students and helping them achieve maximum benefit from the educational process.
At the end of the workshops, the students expressed their great benefit from the content provided, expressing their aspiration for more of these activities that enhance their academic and research skills.
