Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Drandali, President of Zagazig University, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hilal Afifi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Specific Education witnessed, on Thursday, December 24, 2024, the holding of the "Ideal Student" competition for the academic year 2024/2025, which came in a distinctive competitive atmosphere among an elite group of female students from the college. A high-level jury evaluated the entries, headed by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the College, and the membership of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Reham Ihab, Head of the Department of Music Education, and Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of the Youth Care Department. The results of the competition resulted in the crowning of student Maryam William in first place, while student Sama Ahmed won second place, and student Menatallah Abdel Moneim came in third place, in an achievement that reflects the academic excellence and distinguished activities of the college's female students. In his speech during the event, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the College, stressed that: “The Ideal Student Competition is a high-level model of fruitful competition that promotes the values of excellence and leadership, and reflects the College’s vision in preparing a creative and qualified generation to achieve its academic and professional aspirations.”
His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, added that “these events contribute to developing the intellectual and personal aspects of female students, which enhances the College’s position as a center for innovation and excellence at the academic and student levels.”
For her part, Her Excellency Prof. Dr. Reham Ehab, Head of the Department of Music Education, pointed out that: “This competition confirms the importance of student activities as an integral part of the educational process, and contributes to forming a leadership personality capable of facing various challenges.”
While Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of the Youth Care Department, praised the distinguished performance of the participating students, saying: “This event represents an ideal platform to highlight the leadership and creative abilities of female students, and to enhance the values of teamwork and personal excellence.”
The competition concluded with the crowning of the winning students, amidst the audience’s praise for the high level of organization and the spirit of fair competition that characterized this event, in a clear reflection of the college’s keenness to promote a culture of excellence and distinction among its students.
