Media creativity shines in the discussion of graduation projects of the Department of Preparing Journalism, Radio and Television Specialists at Zagazig University.


In an atmosphere full of creativity and excellence, the theater of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University witnessed, on Sunday, December 22, 2024, the discussion of the fourth-level graduation projects for the Department of Preparing Journalism, Radio and Television Specialists, under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Drandali, President of Zagazig University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hilal Afifi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, and under the expert scientific supervision and direct supervision of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Nadia Abdel Hafez, Head of the Department of Educational Media. The projects included five diverse works that demonstrated the students' creative skills and features of their academic excellence. The works were represented in:
"University News" magazine, supervised by Dr. Mohamed Abdullah and Dr. Hanaa Suleiman, which addressed student and academic issues with a distinguished youth vision, "Hamis" magazine, a specialized electronic magazine about women, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Intisar Salem, "Menbar Al-Tanaweya" magazine, supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Wafaa Gamal Darwish, which shed light on the college's activities and various academic issues, "Turning Point" program, supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdo Ramadan, which addressed the phenomenon of electronic addiction, "Responsible Dialogue" program, supervised by Dr. Rana Zahran, whose idea came from addressing important societal issues by hosting influential figures in society.
The projects were discussed by the faculty members of the department in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Amin, Editor-in-Chief of October Magazine, who praised the excellence of the works, stressing that these projects reflect a promising media vision and young talents capable of effectively contributing to the development of the media scene. He added: "I saw in these projects a passion and creativity that reflects the aspirations of a new generation of talented media professionals capable of making a real difference in the media industry."

In this context, Prof. Nadia Abdel Hafez expressed her pride in the students' achievements, saying: "What we witnessed today represents the fruit of strenuous efforts by students and faculty members. These projects are not only a reflection of media skills, but also an expression of a conscious vision that aims to serve society and enhance its media role."

At the end of the event, Prof. Mohamed Amin was honored with an appreciation shield for his prominent role in discussing the projects, and honor shields were presented to the professors supervising the projects in appreciation of their efforts and continuous support for the students.

The event carried a clear message that the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, continues to provide distinguished models that contribute to qualifying new generations who carry the torches of media with professionalism and creativity.
