In the framework of supporting artistic and creative activities, the Department of Educational Media at the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University organized a theatrical performance entitled "Beit Al-Ezz" by the great author Salah Atris, as part of the activities of implementing the theatrical directing course and its schools for the academic year 2024/2025 AD. The performance was held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 AD, at the Auditorium (B) Theater in the college, under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the College, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Nadia Muhammad Abdel-Hafiz, Head of the Department of Educational Media, in addition to general supervision by Prof. Dr. Shaimaa Fathy and Asst. Prof. Dr. Amina Amer, and technical supervision by M. M. Ebtehal Magdy. The performance was attended by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah, the department’s media professor, praised the students’ outstanding level of theatrical performance and the high level of professionalism in directing and acting, stressing that these performances come within the framework of preparing distinguished educational theatrical cadres capable of presenting meaningful and influential content. The performance included a group of talented students who excelled in presenting theatrical characters, as the performance was distinguished by artistic diversity and the ability to embody interactive roles that deserved the praise of the audience. In her speech, Prof. Dr. Shaimaa Fathy expressed her great pride in this student achievement, and that these shows reflect the scientific and artistic capabilities of the Faculty of Specific Education, which are capable of refining students' talents and developing their creative abilities, to be up to future challenges in the fields of media and educational theater."
For her part, Assistant Professor Dr. Amina Amer stressed that theater represents one of the most important educational means that combine knowledge and creativity, praising the positive interaction between students and faculty members.
"Beit Al-Ezz" was the result of an impressive collective effort, as it was creatively directed by student Nermin Gamal, and the large audience that attended the show interacted with it, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and excellence enjoyed by the students of the School Theater Specialist Preparation Division in the Department of Educational Media.
The ceremony concluded with greetings and appreciation to all participating students and the supervision team, stressing that the college is continuing its mission to support artistic and theatrical activity, as it is a basic pillar of preparing creative generations capable of giving.
