Dean of Zagazig Quality opens the field training exhibition for the Educational Media Department at the college.


In the framework of supporting practical activities and qualifying students for the requirements of the media labor market, the Department of Educational Media at the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University opened a field training exhibition for fourth-level students with the credit hour system for the academic year 2024/2025. The exhibition activities were held on Monday, December 16, 2024, in Hall 205 in the new building of the college, under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Drandali, President of Zagazig University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hilal Afifi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Nadia Muhammad Abdel-Hafiz, Head of the Department of Educational Media. The opening activities were attended by a group of academic leaders, headed by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the College, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Shawky, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Fathi Hassan, former Dean of the College, and Prof. Dr. Ahdab El-Maadawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the College, in addition to the evaluation committee that included a group of faculty members and assistants in the department. In his speech during the opening, Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the College, expressed his great happiness and pride in the distinguished level of the works displayed, which reflected the skills and creativity of the department’s students. His Excellency stressed the college’s commitment to providing all possible means to support training and practical activities that hone students’ skills and qualify them to enter the field of media work with efficiency and distinction. He also thanked all students and faculty members, appreciating the role of Prof. Dr. Nadia Mohamed Abdel-Hafez, Head of the Department, for her distinguished organization of this exhibition and her continuous keenness to advance the outcomes of the educational process. For her part, Her Excellency Prof. Dr. Nadia Mohamed Abdel Hafez, Head of the Educational Media Department, stressed that this exhibition is the culmination of the students’ efforts throughout the field training period, and highlights their creative and applied abilities in various media fields. Her Excellency added: “We are proud of the distinguished projects presented by our students, which combine professional vision and academic standards, reflecting their readiness to enter the media labor market with confident steps.” The attending guests praised the level of organization and excellence in implementing the exhibition, as His Excellency Prof. Dr. Fathi Hassan, former Dean of the College, stressed that these events confirm the vital role of the College in preparing qualified media cadres who contribute to developing the media scene. For his part, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, stressed that the exhibition represents a model of integration between theoretical study and practical application, which enhances students’ skills and qualifies them for the requirements of the media labor market. His Excellency Prof. Dr. Akmal Shawky expressed his appreciation for the efforts made, stressing the importance of field training in linking the theoretical aspect with practical application. Her Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahdab Al-Maadawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities, praised the distinguished projects, stressing that the exhibition embodies the college's keenness to support practical activities aimed at developing students' capabilities and honing their media skills.
