Under the generous patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and under the guidance of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Drandali, President of Zagazig University, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Jihan Youssef, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the supervision of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Badie, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and in implementation of the presidential initiative "Learn Healthily" which aims to promote physical health among first-year students by measuring weight, height, and blood pressure, the college directed its students to go to the treatment unit to conduct these examinations according to a specific schedule. In light of the college administration's keenness to participate in this vital initiative, and to provide the opportunity for everyone, it was decided to extend the period of conducting medical examinations for an additional week starting from today, Tuesday, December 3, 2024 AD. Accordingly, the treatment unit will continue to receive students until next Tuesday, December 10, 2024 AD. This extension comes as an affirmation of the importance of this initiative in promoting public health among students.
His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the College, expressed his appreciation for the presidential initiative "Learn Healthily", praising its efforts in providing health care to students, saying: "The health of our students is our top priority, and we are committed to supporting such initiatives that contribute to providing a healthy educational environment. We at the College are keen to ensure that our students are in the best health and physical condition, so that they can achieve academic excellence and participate effectively in serving the community."
For his part, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Badie, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, stressed the importance of the initiative in promoting health awareness among students, saying: "Through these examinations, we aim to learn about the health of our students and guide them towards a healthy lifestyle. We seek for the College to be a model in serving the community and developing the environment, and we hope that this step will be the beginning of a series of activities aimed at supporting the health and safety of students."
This procedure comes within the framework of the College's keenness on the safety of students and providing a healthy educational environment that enhances the level of academic achievement, under the supervision of the heads of scientific departments.
