Zagazig Girls' Team shines in the first matches of the University League in five-a-side football and basketball.


In light of the university's support for its students in sports fields, and based on the objectives of the presidential initiative "A New Beginning to Build a Human Being", the university started the internal league activities for colleges in a number of group and individual sports, under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Drandali, President of the University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Beblawy, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research and Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Anani, Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine and Advisor to the President of the University for Student Activities and Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Health Policies. The team of the Faculty of Specific Education for Girls began its participation in the university league by achieving honorable victories, under the generous patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahdab El-Madaawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty, and Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of Youth Care Department, as the girls' futsal team achieved a crushing victory over the Faculty of Engineering team with a score of 3-0, while the girls' basketball team was able to outperform the Faculty of Commerce team with a score of 2-0, as both teams demonstrated a high athletic level that reflects the readiness and determination of the students.

This achievement came as a result of the careful preparation and continuous training led by Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of Youth Care Department, who was keen to support the two teams throughout the preparation period, which contributed to achieving these distinguished results. The college administration congratulated the students, wishing them success in the upcoming matches, and stressing its keenness to support students in sports activities in a way that enhances their skills and reflects the spirit of challenge and ambition.

It is worth noting that these activities continue during the months of November and December of this year with the participation of all the university's colleges, as the competitions are held on the fields of the university stadium and the Faculty of Physical Education for Girls, under the supervision of Captain Mohamed Zaqzouq, the Sports Activity Officer, and Dr. Mohamed Metwally, Director General of the General Administration of Student Care at the university.
