The Classroom Teacher Preparation and Community Education Program at Zagazig University organizes an academic guidance workshop for first-level students.


Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, the Classroom Teacher and Community Education Preparation Program, headed by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hanem Khaled, Head of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, and in cooperation with His Excellency Prof. Dr. Doaa Mustafa, Director of the Academic Guidance Unit at the Faculty, and Her Excellency Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatima Bahjat, Coordinator of the Academic Guidance Unit at the Department, organized a workshop on academic guidance and registration of first-semester courses for first-level students. The workshop was held on Monday, October 28, 2024 AD, in Hall (A), Controls Building, at exactly ten o'clock in the morning, in the presence of a number of members of the teaching staff and the auxiliary staff to provide support and assistance to students at the beginning of their academic career. Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatima Bahgat, the program’s academic guidance coordinator, stated the importance of such workshops that aim to guide students and familiarize them with course registration procedures and study requirements, which contributes to providing a distinguished educational environment that facilitates their achievement of their academic goals. She also stressed that the program constantly seeks to support and guide students according to the latest academic methods. In her speech, H.E. Prof. Dr. Hanem Khaled, Head of the Classroom Teacher and Community Education Department, indicated that the workshop comes within the framework of the department’s keenness to provide students with the necessary skills to manage their academic path, stressing that academic guidance plays a pivotal role in building a generation of teachers who possess the skills and knowledge that enable them to serve the Egyptian community efficiently.
