The Educational Media Department at Zagazig University holds workshops for academic guidance and course registration at different levels for its students.
Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, the Department of Educational Media, in cooperation with the Academic Guidance Unit at the Faculty, held workshops for students in the second, third and fourth levels, which addressed topics of academic guidance and mechanisms for registering first-semester courses. The workshops were held on Monday, October 28, 2024, in Auditorium (D) and Hall (205) in the new building. In this context, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdo Ramadan, Academic Guidance Coordinator at the Department, stated that "the workshops provided students with important guidance on the academic registration process and the importance of choosing courses that are consistent with their educational path and future plans." He also pointed out that "the students interacted positively with the information presented and asked constructive questions that reflect their interest." For his part, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Nadia Mohamed Abdel-Mohafez, Head of the Educational Media Department, said, “These workshops come within the framework of the department’s keenness to provide continuous academic support to students, which enhances their ability to make sound academic decisions and enhances their readiness for academic excellence.”
