Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty Student Union, in cooperation with the Youth Care Department, organized a blood donation campaign today, Monday, October 14, 2024. The campaign was supervised by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahdab Al-Maadawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities, Dr. Amira Khairy, Advisor to the Social Committee, Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of the Youth Care Department, and Mr. Sobhi Muhammad, Head of the Student Union. The campaign aimed to provide "donation vouchers" that give priority to donors and their families from the faculty students, faculty members, and the administrative staff in the event that they need blood in the future. The organizing committee explained that such initiatives contribute directly to supporting a healthy community and enhance the spirit of solidarity within the walls of the faculty. As part of the campaign, the faculty launched an encouraging invitation to students and staff entitled: "When you volunteer to donate blood, you help others, contribute to healing patients, and save someone's life." It is worth noting that the campaign embodies the importance of the positive role of the individual in supporting health institutions and providing assistance to those who are most in need. This initiative came as part of a series of community activities that the college seeks to enhance, with the aim of establishing the values ​​of giving and altruism among students, and building an integrated university community that realizes its effective role in serving the community.
