Within the framework of the activities of the start of the new academic year 2024/2025 AD, and under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Drandali, President of Zagazig University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Beblawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Badie, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Nadia Mohamed Abdel-Hafiz, Head of the Department of Educational Media; The Department of Educational Media at the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, organized an introductory seminar for first-level students on Monday, September 30, 2024 AD at 12 noon in Hall (D) in the Home Economics Building, with the participation of an elite group of faculty members. The seminar was attended by an elite group of professors, headed by Dr. Mahni Saleh, Dr. Duaa Khalil, Dr. Rana Zahran, Dr. Hanaa Suleiman, and Ms. Mai Abdel Aziz, provided important guidance and comprehensive insights into the nature of study and the specializations available in the department, and the requirements of academic programs, in addition to highlighting the career opportunities awaiting graduates in various media fields. The importance of students' active participation in university activities and making the most of the resources available in the college was also emphasized. The symposium witnessed a distinguished presence of first-level students, who expressed their interaction with the professors and their inquiries about various academic aspects. This event comes within a series of activities organized by the college to enhance communication between students and faculty members, and to prepare new students for the requirements of university academic study. At the end of the symposium, the professors and lecturers of the symposium expressed their happiness with the success of the event, wishing the students an academic year full of success and excellence.
