Zagazig University organized a celebration to welcome its new and old students for the academic year 2024/2025 AD.


Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Drandali, President of Zagazig University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Beblawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Anani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Advisor to the President of the University for Student Activities and Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Health Policies. The Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, organized a celebration for its new and old students for the academic year 2024-2025 AD on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 AD in Hall (B) at the college, under the supervision and attendance of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the College, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Shawky, the College's Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Badie, the College's Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahdab Al-Maadawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the College, Dr. Ihab Awad, the College's Director General, and Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of Youth Care, Student Union Organization and Students for Egypt Family.
This was attended by the heads of the scientific departments, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Reham Ehab, Head of the Department of Musical Sciences, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hanem Khaled, Head of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Safinaz Samir, Head of the Department of Home Economics, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Nadia Mohamed Abdel Hafez, Head of the Department of Educational Media, a group of faculty members and their assistants, and a large number of students at the college.
The ceremony opened with the national anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, expressed his happiness to welcome new students at the beginning of this new academic year, and stressed the college's commitment to providing all the necessary support and guidance to enable them to achieve their academic and professional goals. He also advised students to take advantage of every opportunity to learn and participate in university activities, stressing that this experience is not just education, but rather a means of self-development and building a network of relationships that will benefit them in their future lives. He concluded his speech by wishing them success and good luck, and called on them to commit and work hard and diligently to achieve their dreams. For his part, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the College, spoke, expressing his warm welcome to his sons, new and old students, wishing them a successful and excellent academic year. He stressed the college's continued commitment to providing a distinguished educational environment that focuses on developing students' academic and personal skills. He pointed out the college's keenness to support students in their educational journey by providing the latest educational means and activities that contribute to developing their capabilities in various fields. He called on students to participate actively in student activities, as an integral part of the university experience. He concluded his speech by emphasizing his continuous support for them, noting that the college's doors are always open to support them at every step.
The ceremony included a group of distinguished artistic segments and national songs that instilled a spirit of belonging and enthusiasm in the students' souls, as musical performances were presented that demonstrated the extent of excellence and artistic creativity among the college's students. The artistic ceremony was held under the supervision of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Reham Ehab, Professor and Head of the Department of Musical Sciences, and implemented by Dr. Hiba Abdel Karim, a teacher of music education at the college, who were keen to present segments that reflect national values ​​and develop a spirit of loyalty and belonging to the homeland, and a segment of folk arts under the supervision of Youth Care.
At the end of the ceremony, the Dean of the College expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to those in charge of organizing this distinguished event, praising their efforts in producing the ceremony in a manner befitting the status of the college, stressing the importance of such events in enhancing communication between students and faculty members, and deepening belonging to the college and the homeland.
