Green Urbanism Initiative, construction materials and non-traditional
Depends mainly on the optimal exploitation of our natural resources in each city especially with regard to water, energy and waste and methods of green construction and sustainable transport management. We have embarked on the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities in the establishment of the central unit of sustainable cities, energy Almottagddahibhaih new urban communities to be responsible for the achievement of the elements of sustainability of Urban Communities, and in this regard issued Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development Resolution No. (512) for the year 2014 on the establishment of the central unit and sustainable energy for cities renewable and sub-affiliate units.
Through the presence of common goals between the Academy of Scientific Research and the central unit for sustainable cities and renewable energy goals of the initiative was to identify some of the challenges in the new cities, and which require urgent solutions to take advantage of all that has been done from a scientific and technological effort in the past and to develop solutions to those challenges without duplicating efforts in put funding new research projects out the initial models to a larger scale and to study its effect on the solution of the problem and put it in front of makers.
