Enabling the genomic revolution in Africa
Search has been published by the scientific research team (H3Africa), which includes many of the universities in African countries and is considered the sole representative of Zagazig University, Egypt in this team.
The Department of Genetics (Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University) and the Center for Bioinformatics at the University representative Prof. Ahmed Mansour Zohairy is the only Egyptian partner in this research team and the research team involved in a global project undergarment named Human, Health and Heredity in Africa bioinformatics Network (H3ABioNet) for a period of 5 years.
The project aims to several objectives, including:
<! - [if! supportLists] -> 1- to identify the genetic origins and the emergence of many genetic diseases in Africa and the world.
<! - [if! supportLists] -> 2- train researchers in Africa to study the latest techniques and genome bioinformatics
And advancing the university represented by the President Prof. Dr. Ashraf al-Shehhi sincere congratulations to the College of Agriculture at this commendable effort and wishes entangling effective for all faculty members in the system of international publication of the University so as to elevate the order of Zagazig University between universities in the world.
