The Minister of Higher Education has directed that in-person classes at universities and institutes be suspended and continue with online learning on Wednesday and Thursday.

Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has directed universities and institutes to suspend in-person classes and continue the educational process online on Wednesday and Thursday, March 25 and 26, due to unstable weather conditions, according to a statement from the Egyptian Meteorological Authority.

This excludes medical staff, university security personnel, employees in occupational health and safety departments, those on duty, and those whose work requires their presence, as determined by university presidents to ensure effective management of the situation within each university, college, and institute.
