In a unique artistic atmosphere reflecting the spirit of creativity and innovation among the students of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty inaugurated the photography exhibition for fourth-year students in the Department of Art Education. The exhibition opened on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in the Faculty's Art Gallery, in the presence of Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty.
The opening ceremony was also attended by Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Safinaz Samir, Acting Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Professor Dr. Younis Mustafa, Head of the Department of Art Education; faculty members and their assistants; and a number of students interested in visual arts.
✓ The exhibition featured a distinguished collection of artworks by fourth-year students, reflecting diverse artistic visions and a creative approach to employing light, shadow, and visual composition. Through their works, the students expressed various human, social, and aesthetic issues, showcasing the skills and experiences they acquired during their academic studies.
The exhibition also provided an important opportunity to present the students' creative output to faculty members and their peers, as part of the college's support for artistic talent and its encouragement of students to express their ideas through visual arts, thus contributing to refining their artistic skills and enhancing their creative abilities.
In this context, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, expressed his delight at the outstanding artistic level of the exhibited works, praising the creativity and innovation demonstrated by the students of the Art Education Department in presenting their artwork. His Excellency emphasized that organizing such exhibitions provides an important platform for showcasing students' talents and giving them the opportunity to express their artistic visions.
