A new scientific achievement for the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University: The inclusion of the journal "Studies and Research in Specific Education" among the classified journals at the University of Twente, Netherlands.


In a move reflecting the growing academic standing of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University, and under the patronage of Professor Khaled El-Darandaly, President of the University, and Professor Ehab El-Beblawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, the Faculty has achieved a new academic milestone with the inclusion of its journal, "Specific Education Studies and Research," in the indexed journals of the University of Twente in the Netherlands, a prestigious international academic institution. This achievement is the culmination of continuous efforts to develop the journal scientifically and in terms of peer review, in line with international standards for scientific publishing.

The journal, which holds the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 2356-8690 (2974-4423), is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University. It focuses on publishing specialized scientific research and studies in various fields of specific education, contributing to the advancement of scientific research and the exchange of knowledge among researchers at both the regional and international levels. The journal is also indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), one of the world's leading directories of high-quality, peer-reviewed scientific journals.

In this context, Professor Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University, expressed his pride in this distinguished scientific achievement, emphasizing that the journal's inclusion among the ranking journals of the University of Twente in the Netherlands represents a significant step towards enhancing the faculty's research standing on the international stage.

He pointed out that this achievement is the fruit of continuous efforts exerted by the journal's editorial board and participating researchers, along with the ongoing support of the faculty administration to elevate the level of scientific publishing according to international standards. His Excellency also commended the efforts of the journal's team, headed by Professor Dr. Yasser Abdel-Aal, Editor-in-Chief, and Dr. Mohamed Mohamed Ibrahim, Managing Editor, in recognition of their role in developing the journal and elevating its scientific standing.

For his part, Professor Dr. Yasser Abdel-Aal, Editor-in-Chief, affirmed that the inclusion of the "Studies and Research in Specific Education" journal among the journals indexed by the University of Twente represents a significant milestone in the journal's development and reflects the editorial board's commitment to applying the highest standards of scientific peer review and academic publishing.
