The Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University is preparing to participate in the Seventh Creativity Forum in Assiut during an expanded meeting of department heads.


Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Khaled El-Darandaly, President of Zagazig University, His Excellency Professor Ehab El-Beblawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and His Excellency Professor Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University held an expanded meeting this morning, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, with the heads of the Departments of Music Education, Art Education, Home Economics, and Educational Technology. The meeting focused on final preparations for participation in the 7th Creativity Forum, scheduled to be held in Assiut Governorate, with the participation of several Egyptian universities.

The meeting addressed participation plans, nominations for outstanding works in each department, and mechanisms for supporting talented students who will represent the faculty at the forum. It also explored ways to enhance the faculty's presence at major creative events, befitting its academic and artistic standing. Furthermore, the meeting assessed the readiness of the student teams and reviewed training and artistic guidance plans to ensure a competitive and effective participation.

In his address, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed that participation in the Creativity Forum stems from the Faculty's commitment to supporting talented students and providing them with opportunities to showcase their skills on major national platforms. He noted that the Faculty possesses creative talents capable of strong competition and leaving a distinguished mark. He also emphasized the importance of unifying efforts among departments to achieve a participation that reflects the prestigious academic and artistic standing of the Faculty.

For his part, Professor Dr. Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that the Forum is an important opportunity to enhance student engagement and highlight outstanding examples of academic and artistic creativity. He affirmed that the Faculty will provide all necessary support to ensure a high-quality participation that reflects the excellence of its educational programs and activities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Faculty administration stressed the importance of continued coordination among the various departments in the coming period to ensure complete readiness before the Forum's launch. They emphasized that participation aims not only to compete but also to reaffirm the Faculty's role in fostering creativity, refining talents, and building a generation capable of innovation and effective contribution to the cultural and artistic landscape of Zagazig University and our beloved Egypt.
