⭕As part of the integrated institutional role undertaken by the leadership of the Faculty of Specific Education at Zagazig University, and under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Darandaly, President of Zagazig University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Biblawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Helal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Her Excellency Prof. Dr. Hanan El-Nahhas, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, participated today, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in the ceremony honoring participants in the internal government excellence awards, in accordance with the official program announced by the university. This reflects the Faculty's commitment to supporting a culture of excellence and motivating distinguished staff at the institutional performance level.
Following this, Professor Akmal Shawky, Dean of the Faculty, conducted an inspection tour to monitor the examination process in several academic departments, including the Department of Art Education and the Department of Home Economics. He ensured the smooth operation of the examination committees, adherence to regulations, and the availability of a suitable environment for students, guaranteeing that the exams would be conducted in an atmosphere of discipline and transparency.
In the same context, Professor Shawky held a coordination meeting with Professor Ehab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and in the presence of Dr. Abeer Kamal, Director of Student Affairs, to review the examination venues and assess the readiness of the halls and committees. This aimed to ensure the safe and organized accommodation of students and to finalize the necessary procedures for the smooth conduct of examinations in the coming period.

Shawky added that the college administration is paying close attention to ensuring complete discipline in the examination process through continuous coordination between the relevant departments and academic sections, and by providing the necessary resources to guarantee the smooth conduct of exams without obstacles, thus reflecting the appropriate institutional image of the Faculty of Specific Education and Zagazig University.
⭕In support of student activities and artistic creativity, Professor Dr. Akmal Shawky participated in the evening in the college's theatrical performance "Lamandara," presented by the college's students as part of the theatrical activity program. He also participated in the closing ceremony of the theatrical activity at Zagazig University level, which witnessed the announcement of the winning teams and students, amidst a large academic and student audience. Also present were Professor Dr. Safinaz Samir, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and Head of the Home Economics Department, Professor Dr. Reham Ehab, Coordinator of Student Activities at the college and Head of the Music Education Department, and Professor Dr. Shaimaa Fathi, Head of the Educational Media Department and Professor of Theater Arts, emphasized the college administration's and its academic departments' commitment to supporting student talent and enhancing the role of university theater as a vital source of education and awareness.
Professor Akmal Shawky praised the outstanding artistic level of the performances, affirming that theatrical activities are a crucial element in shaping the university student's character, developing cultural and creative awareness, and fostering a sense of belonging and teamwork.
