Embodying Zagazig University's vision of empowering youth scientifically and intellectually, and enhancing the role of academic institutions in shaping a more innovative and sustainable future, and under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Drandali, President of Zagazig University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hilal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ihab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Samah Abdel Fattah, Director of the Exhibitions and Conferences Organization Unit, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Naglaa Saeed, Conference Coordinator, the Faculty of Specific Education is organizing its second student conference entitled "Qualitative Innovations in the Era of Artificial Intelligence" on Monday, April 28, 2025, with distinguished participation from the college's students and faculty members. This conference comes within the framework of supporting student innovation and creativity and enhancing the role of quality education in keeping pace with rapid developments in the field of artificial intelligence. This is achieved through innovative student projects that highlight smart solutions and practical applications that meet the needs of society and keep pace with the demands of the labor market.
Professor Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized that the conference represents a rich scientific platform for showcasing students' creativity in advanced, qualitative fields. He noted that the Faculty is keen to promote a culture of research and innovation among students and link the outcomes of the educational process to modern trends in artificial intelligence technology. He added, "We strive for the Faculty of Specific Education to be a center of excellence and creativity, aligned with the national vision for sustainable development and serving the priorities of the Egyptian state in digital transformation."
Professor Ihab Atef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, stated that the conference is a golden opportunity to discover talent and support young talents, emphasizing the Faculty's role in providing a stimulating educational environment that contributes to the development of students' critical and creative thinking skills. He added, "We encourage our students to engage with current developments, and we work to hone their skills so they can be active participants in the knowledge society."
Prof. Dr. Samah Abdel Fattah, Director of the Exhibitions and Conferences Organization Unit at the College, emphasized that the unit is organizing the conference according to a precise vision that reflects the College's standing and academic ambitions. She noted that preparations are being carried out with high professionalism to ensure the conference is of a distinguished standard befitting the importance of the event. She added that the goal is to provide a stimulating organizational environment that showcases students' creativity and contributes to consolidating a culture of excellence and innovation in line with the requirements of the current stage and the state's efforts to support quality education.
Prof. Dr. Naglaa Saeed, the conference coordinator, explained that preparations are underway to organize a conference that is distinguished in terms of organization and content. She noted that it will include presentations of outstanding student projects, interactive workshops, and discussion sessions that highlight the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence in specific fields.
