As part of Zagazig University's efforts to promote the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship and link them to academic and developmental realities, the Department of Home Economics at the Faculty of Specific Education—accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Education—is organizing its annual conference entitled "Home Economics: Between Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Future Visions)" on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the faculty's headquarters.
This conference is held under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Khaled El-Darandali, President of Zagazig University, and His Excellency Prof. Ehab El-Beblawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of His Excellency Prof. Hani Helmy, Dean of the Faculty, and His Excellency Prof. Akmal Shawky Gaballah, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.
The conference is chaired by Prof. Safinaz Samir, Head of the Department of Home Economics, who explained in her remarks that this scientific event represents an important platform for highlighting the role of home economics as a key contributor to supporting innovation and employing entrepreneurial concepts in daily life, thus contributing to building a knowledge-based society and a developed national economy. It's worth noting that this conference is a true reflection of Egypt's Vision 2030, which aims to promote sustainable development concepts and empower applied disciplines to efficiently fulfill their societal and economic roles. It also represents a constructive scientific and dialogue platform for presenting future visions capable of transforming academic knowledge into practical practices that make a difference in society.
